Wedding photography becomes more consistent when observation leads the process. Start by identifying relationships, light direction and the emotional center of a scene before choosing focal length or position.
Three practice prompts
1. Build sequences: photograph wide, medium and close frames of the same interaction. 2. Find recurring color: use a dominant color to connect unrelated moments. 3. Wait for layers: compose the environment first, then let people complete the frame.
